• Huawei Nova (CAN-L01) - Boot Loop - FRP Lock

Hi,

Interested to know if DC-Phoenix will work for my situation.

I have a Huawei Nova (CAN-L01) stuck in boot loop with FRP locked.

I can get into Fastboot mode.
I cannot get into ADB mode. I expect dev options have not been set. (And can't set them because of boot loop)

I cannot reflash any image with Huawei official firmware via fastboot.
I have tried many images (Recovery, boot, system, etc)
All fail with FRP error (Factory Reset Protection)

I cannot reflash any image with Huawei official firmware via UPDATE.APP in dload folder on SD card.
Most images stop at 5% then eventually reboot after some time.
Some images get to 7% and stop with an error.

Current phone version is CAN-L01C432B131
It was bought in the UK.

I used FirmwareFinder to get the images i have used.
Firmware Finder does not have an image for CAN-L01C432B131, however does have many images for CAN-L01C432B320 and above.

I would like to know if DC-Phoenix will work in this stutaion and:
- Allow me to flash recovery
- Allow me to restore phone to factory settings
- Unlock FRP
- Unlock bootloader

And would like to know which is the best image I should be using to restore to factory.

Thanks in advance.

There is no guarantee - for any image, it is flashing.

I understand there is no Guarantee.
I suppose what I am asking, will DC-Phoenix allow me to unlock FRP and Bootloader for this device?

No, it will not. It can bypass them, but you won't get frp lock/phone lock status changes on fastboot screen if that's what you are asking.

Hi,

I have purchased 72 hour thingy - junkie69 username.

I downloaded drivers from here: https://files.dc-unlocker.com/share....AEB5D1E2FA9C10
I downloaded DC-Phoenix - version 0.0.0.126 from here
Removed SD Card and smi card from phone.
Connected phone in fast boot mode. (Screen showed green android with "FASTBOOT&RESCUE MODE" as title of screen.

Confirmed version of phone CAN-L01C432B131 (fastboot oem get-build-number)
Downloaded Firmware from https://www.dc-unlocker.com/firmware-catalog
- Cannes-L01_C432B382_Firmware_Austria_Bulgaria_Croatia_Rom ania_Slovenia_Nonspecific_Android_7.0_EMUI_5.0.1.A PP

Prior to update, DC-Phoenix Look like this:
DC-Phoenix B4 Update.png

Clicked on update.

Portion of log here:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Erasing ver .. .
Writing rescue_recovery partition
RESCUE_RECOVERY partition update ...OK
Uptade recovery parttion OK
Looking for device in upgrade mode...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

While the update process was looking for device in upgrade mode, the phone screen changed to a circle with USB symbol in the middle and said installing update.
Phone stopped at 5%.

During update process I got the dialog box that says to manually enter upgrade mode.
I can get the phone manually into the same mode (holding the Vol+ and Vol- keys.)
Is this the Upgrade mode?

I think the issue maybe, I cant turn the phone off, then use vol+ and vol- keys, then plug in. Due to boot loop..

Can you please advise suggestions?

No, maybe only discharging phone completely and only then trying to put it manually or during it's bootloop.

Ok. Phone turned off eventually.
Help Vol- and Vol+ for about 5 secs.
Then plugged in to PC.
Phone went staight to the installing circle and stopped at 5% again.
Installing Update.png

DC-Phoenix not recognising device outside of fastboot mode.

Please advise next steps.
Or if DC-Phoenix cannot flash, then please provide money back.

Cheers

Please extend my licence.
I have wasted so much of the 72 hours, waiting for responses to my questions above due to time zone differences.
I am only attempting this on a single device.
Which you should be able to see from the logs:
i.e. Device - 84HDU16906001257.

Please help.
