Hi,
I've got only one day left on dc-phoenix and can't figure out my problem
My european Honor 9 (STF-L09) got bricked while trying to update it (I'm pretty sure I was on Android 9).
I bought 15 credits and followed the tutorial "Huawei Bricked phone repair with DC Phoenix". Had to jump to the Method 3 because the others didn't work.
I started by rewriting OEMINFO with STF-L09, and selecting Bootloader "Kirin960_T2_A7.0_V4" (the only one that allows me to go to fastboot/rescue mode).
After that, I checked "Rescue recovery" and "Old slow algo" and flashed the dgtks file "STF-Full-Repair-NV-included-Board-A051-7.0.0_r1" which works perfectly, no error, and it allows me to boot into the Chinese "safe mode" ROM.
I always do these to steps before trying to flash the next ROMs, but anyway, none of them work. I tried every ROM that's on dc-phoenix database :
- Stanford-L09_C432B130_Firmware_Belgium_Germany_France_Nethe rlands_Portugal_Switzerland_Spain_Italy_Austria_Po land_Denmark_Finland_Czech_Republic_Hungary.APP
- Stanford-L09_C432B100a_Firmware_Belgium_Germany_France_Neth erlands_Portugal_Switzerland_Spain_Italy_Nonspecif ic.APP
- Stanford-L09_8.0.0.385(C432)_Firmware_8.0.0_r1_EMUI8.0_0501 4NRL.APP
- Stanford-L09_9.1.0.210(C432E2R1P5T8)_Firmware_9.0.0_r3_EMUI _9.1.0_05014NSS.APP
- Stanford-L09_C900B103_Firmware_West_European_Nonspecific_An droid7.0_EMUI5.1.APP
None of them work, but they all have a different behavior :
- for some, the installation will stop pretty quickly after "USB Device REMOVAL" and "looking for device in upgrade mode".
- for others, the installation will proceed on the phone, "Installing the update", and then get stuck at 99%.
- and for others, the worst of them all : the update fully installs, up to 100%, with the checkmark saying that the phone will now reboot, but it's jut bricked again and won't boot.
For almost all of them, I get errors like "partition length" or "image verification error".
I'm kinda desperate tbh. I wanted to try other firmware but they're all "Full OTA", and dc-phoenix doesn't seem to like them. And I don't know how to convert them, or even if it's a good idea.
Thanks for your help !
