  • Unlock bootloader of a P20 PRO CLT-L29 via HCU

    Hi,
I wanted to unlock the bootloader of a P20 PRO CLT-L29 via HCU with the guide in https://hcu-client.com/huawei-bootlo...via-testpoint/.
From what i read, i need to have the device in test point mode so i follow the guide.
The guide told me to use phoenix to put it in TP so i tried that with the guide
I then tried to enable the TP mode with phoenix while having the phone on ADB mode. I also installed the drivers obviously (hisuite).

The problem is the phone now is dead, it won't turn on or do anything, can you help me?
I attach the log of the software here.

So maybe it did enter testpoint mode?, Haven't you checked device manager on pc to see where your phone appears there, maybe haven't installed testpoint drivers from the guide. Testpoint mode is indeed a black screen. If you see something like "USB ser" with "!" marks then means drivers are missing. Testpoint drivers may find in this guide: https://www.dc-unlocker.com/dcphoeni...le-software-tp

You are absolutely right. I did not have the drivers for testpoint mode.
By installing them i was able to see the device in HUAWEI USB COM 1.0

Then i went on, i managed to find the right bootloader and HCU unlocked managed to unlock the bootloader correctly.

Now i'm following this guide https://www.dc-unlocker.com/dcphoeni...ware-testpoint
      to disable testpoint mode.
I did what the guide said but the device is still visible as HUAWEI USB COM 1.0 in ports even though the process has finished successfully.
The phone right now is in eRecovery mode and if i reboot , it always goes to eRecovery mode.
Here my only options are: reboot, shutdown, or connect to wifi to "Download latest version and recovery"
What should i do now to turn on the phone correctly? If i reboot it always goes to eRecovery.
      Can you help me?
      Thanks in advance

      here's the log

Did you use bootloader unlock or read bootloader code from it? Also have you done anything to mobile - flashed, etc. after unlocking it?

I did not do anything else, flashing etc.
I did what the guide here said https://hcu-client.com/huawei-bootlo...via-testpoint/ in order to unlock the bootloader.
I Set bootloader lock status to “Bootloader lock: unlocked” and followed the steps in the guide.

Then i disabled testpoint mode with this guide https://www.dc-unlocker.com/dcphoeni...ware-testpoint.
The log is in the other message.

After disabling testpoint mode the phone went in eRecovery mode and i can only do 3 things:
          Reboot
          Shutdownn
          Download latest version and recovery

What should i do in order to turn on the phone correctly? Download latest version and recovery or something else?
Sorry for disturbing you, thanks in advance

But this guide is for Kirin710 and Kirin980 based devices, as shown in the feature table in that guide. Your phone is supported only for bootloader code read service. https://hcu-client.com/hcu-features-by-tp-xloader/
