I have "HUAWEI Medipad T3 10 / AGS-W09" with build number "AGS-W09C100B271" and Android version 7.
I succeed to pass to maintenance mode, but this phone is not recognized in DC unlocker.
Help please.
What are you trying to do by using our software? You can try to use hcu-client software instead of dc-unlocker. It has more functions for phones/tables than dc-unlocker. Same login would work.
I have just installed HCU Client v1.0.0.0382.
I have selected "Manufacture Mode".
It is recognized with HiSuite, but the message when click "Read phone info" with HCU Client is "Phone not found".
What is the problem?
Thanks for your answer.
Have you closed hisuite before using our software and made sure it is not left running in the background, have you put your device in manufacture mode as per the tutorial?
Hisuite launch automatically when the device is connected. A code is requested. I enter the code to connect correctly the device. After that I have to close and kill the Hisuite process?
Unfortunately, I'm using dc-unlocker on a virtual machine with Windows, because I'm currently on Linux.
Is it not possible with dc-unlocker on Virtual Machine?
I disabled HiSuite from automatically launching when the tablet is connected.
I connect my tablet via the USB cable and I do the manipulations to switch to “Manufacture Mode”.
I check in device manager :
Modems / Android Adapter Modem
Ports (COM)
Android Adapter PCUI (COM9)
DBAdapter Reserved Interface
I launch "HCU Client" in Autodetect with "Manufacture mode (COM ports)" and the result is : "Phone not found".
Maybe in the device manager, it has "!" or "?" signs next to port names that belong to it. Also, please check in the device manager, maybe it also created an Android device on top of the Device manager list, sometimes users need to disable that one to detect it. If the computer is normal and not a VM then it will certainly get detected. If possible let us know what Android and service patch your unit runs.
In your info it shows that it detects as fastboot device at the moment
2024-07-29 21:17:55.045 Found fastboot device 4JPNU17B29106570
Which is an incorrect mode/detection for code read. Try to disable (right-click "disable") one of the lines or both from the Android section in the device manager and then restart HCU and repeat the detection, and code read process.
