Help to unlock Huawei E970

I think i misunderstand what the DC-unlocker does, it unlocks simcards, it does not unlock the firmware, so my router is still locked to T-mobile firmware.
I can not find new firmware for my router B970, do you have a link ?
Or do you know how to unlock the firmware, i allready bought 25 credit that i can not use.
Huawei is not as supportive as you have been.

Was there a sim card inserted whrn you were detecting this router? Dc-unlocker unlocks the modem/router and it accepts all provider sim card.
Sorry, we do not have formware for this router.

Yes there was a sim card inserted when i was detecting the router. When the router is connected with the USB cable it works as a modem and it is not locked, but when i connect it as a router with a LAN cable it will not connect, the installed software will not let me change the dialing number.

You should try detecting the reouter without sim card inserted. Then you will see the real lock status.

i think my problem in usb cable but i try many cable and other pc but not help and i downloaded mobile partner also not help any advice

try to turn mobile partner off

then choice Auto Detedct

it should be detected now

and also you suppose to have internet connetion to unlock the Router later

or if Dc unlocker not detect it at all try to unlock it with other PC

but sim card not worked with youre router and detect it with Dc unlocker it should give you locked

if it show no sim or invalid sim it mean youre Router is lock by a one network

if you want to used it with other networks

you suppose to unlock it

and that can by Dc unlocker

by 25 credet and unlock it

enjoy to used youre 970 with all networks

thats what i now wait the dc supporter and see

If dc unlocker shows lock status unlocked, means it is unlocked. It may not acccept other sim cards, because the firmware is customized. You need to rewrite the firmware.

Yes Sir, you are right... The SIM is unlocked, but it is locked in the firmware.

Do you offer firmware unlock service ??? If yes, how much credit is it ?

I just noticed something else weird... The SIM Lock/Unlock keeps changing each time.. I tried with and without SIM, same result... Sometimes the Serial NR. also changes, but the IMEI number remains the same... So I really do not know which status to believe.. That the router is locked or unlocked ??

I contacted Web Customer Care, and the girl there told me that if I cannot unlock it, I get a refund... So I am going to go ahead and try today..

Any last moment suggestions from all the tech geeks here ???

After multiple attempts, I finally manager to re-create the situation where the status showed as SIM: Locked (Network)

After that, I clicked UNLOCK, and hurray, in hardly 10 seconds it said UNLOCKED SUCCESSFULLY....

I was a little hesitant at first thinking I just lost 25 Euros, but yippee ya ye, a new SIM went straight inside the firmware without any warning...

So, I guess it was not a firmware lock issue, it was just that the DC-unlocker had a little glitch that did not show the correct lock status (most of the time, it showed as unlocked)..

For anyone out there still trying like me, let me tell you how I did it...

At first I tried without a SIM inside like the tutorials said, it din't work. It finally worked only when I put a disabled SIM inside, and also opened mobile partner at the same time. As soon as it said INVALID SIM, close mobile partner and run DC-unlocker
