Buy a DC-Unlocker dongle.Then lot of modems free and unlimited.....

After multiple attempts, I finally manager to re-create the situation where the status showed as SIM: Locked (Network)

After that, I clicked UNLOCK, and hurray, in hardly 10 seconds it said UNLOCKED SUCCESSFULLY....

I was a little hesitant at first thinking I just lost 25 Euros, but yippee ya ye, a new SIM went straight inside the firmware without any warning...

So, I guess it was not a firmware lock issue, it was just that the DC-unlocker had a little glitch that did not show the correct lock status (most of the time, it showed as unlocked)..

For anyone out there still trying like me, let me tell you how I did it...

At first I tried without a SIM inside like the tutorials said, it din't work. It finally worked only when I put a disabled SIM inside, and also opened mobile partner at the same time. As soon as it said INVALID SIM, close mobile partner and run DC-unlocker

I don't have the „Mobile Partner“ software, i have tried to get it from Huawei but i can't fint it on their webpage. Could you give me a link please ?

f you can not detect modem you should check the fallowing:
Check, if the drivers are installed
Check, if the connection software for this modem is closed and modem is not connected to internet
Check, if you use autodetect function in dc-unlocker software
Check, if you use latest dc-unlocker software version.

Also try to connect router by LAN cable and detect then.

Now my router is unlocked, thanks for your assistance.
Now I have another problem and I need your help
I can only connect as a modem with a USB cable.
When used as a router fails to connect, but shows that the signal is good.
Another detail to note is that only connect on EDGE, HSDPA never take me.
When I put the SIM Card on your orignal mobile device immediately connects HSDPA mode.
I tried with 2 different SIM'S providers and the same thing happened.
Please help me

How to conect just by wifi

Hi, i just bought and unlocked my B970, it works fine with the usb cable but... what do i have to do in order to conect by wifi? do i have to conect a internet cable on it, access with a web browser and change the internal configuration? if so what if the ip, login and pass?
