    Still no detection!!!

Shu48: are you from Germany? So please call and help me if you have a Handy-Flat. Please: 0178-1792453.

That's the right driver. Is it all looking ok in device manager, showing as working? I only started playing with this software a couple of days ago so I am the complete opposite of a guru on this. With the right driver installed in xp it worked fine for me. I notice the manager and the administrator post on here quite a lot. So perhaps they will be able to provide you with some help tomorrow. I don't have all the answers, can only tell you what worked for me. I'm not from Germany, I'm in the UK. At first I thought you meant somewhere to live (apartment) lol Then remembered you call your phone your handy in Germany. But what's handy-flat? Anyway, on the bright side, sounds like you might be a step closer with this software. No detection has to be marginally better than error.

      Hello Shu48,

thanks for reply. I am in Germany and I have Huawei U8180 bought in Switzerland (Orange-Network).

I have done everything. Bus the Error 153 is still coming. I thought you are from Germany. We say for Handy-Flat: unlimited calls for mobile phones.

Maybe the chief "Gintas" can help me tomorrow. He is sleeping now in Litvania.

Good night to Britain from Stuttgart (South Germany).
      Bye

If you get error 153, you should check this:
Make sure phones battery is charged.
Connect USB cable to USB port which is directly to motherboard.
        Try other USB cable.
Drivers may not be fully installed.
Drivers may not be fully loaded.
Other computer might solve this problem.
Other OS may solve this problem.

          Hello Gintas,

          1.) Battery is fully charged!
2.) Connected to all 4 USB Ports directly to mainboard, with Window 7 32 bit, result: not detecting!
3.)USB-Cable is ok is charging and finding U8180 (brandnew!!!)
4.)Driver loaded, uninstalled and installed again, it´s showing like on your website: "Fastboot Interface...."
5.) Other Computer with Windows XP Professional have the same result: not detecting...Shall I try with windows 2000, or Linux Ubuntu?

I don´t have MAC but its not working with MAC.

--What will happen with my credits if its not working???Or can you send me Unlock Codes like other Websites?

Did you install drivers from our procedure link? I mean, uninstalled current drivers and installed only the ones from our link? You need to give them to Windows by force. Also, if you can try on other computer, in the same way - giving drivers by force.

DC-Unlocker is based on windows only.

If its not working, then we provide you full support to fix the problem and to make it working. If nothing can be done, we can refund money for the credits.

Doesn't seem to have been 100% Successful

Damn it. Thought I'd done it. It did say unlock was successful. Phone no longer asks for an unlock code when I put a different sim card in. But it's not unlocked either. By this I mean that it is not picking up the network I want to use, which does have signal here because I used that network on my previous phone. In fact the only 3G network it will allow me to use is the one it was locked to before I tried to unlock it with this software.

The network says once I have been with them for three months they will unlock it for me for Ł15. But it's meant to be unlocked by DC Unlocker anyway. The network it is locked to insist it is possible to be unlocked with one of there unlock codes, because I did wonder if it maybe wasn't possible to unlock this phone. I have three questions:

Is it still possible to fully unlock my phone with DC unlocker at no extra cost?

If not it says on the website I can get a refund, how do I do this?

In 3 months time if I get a code from the locked network, how will I enter it if my phone doesn't ask for the code when I put a different sim card in anymore since running DC Unlocker?

                Hello Shu48,

I tried on different PCs but it doesn´t help. I have everything done, what the instruction wants from me. There are some Websites who are doing it for 10 Euro. I would pay it, if somebody can unlock our Huawei X1 U8180.

Orange CH says on her Website. We will send you the Unlock-Code after the period. That means it is possible to unlock with a CODE. There are so many mathematics and Software-Writer und Crack-Writer and Unlock Software for Samsung and Nokia woking but Huawei - nobody is interesting?

Tomorrow I will test it on Windows 2000? Then I tried everything. Till tomorrow.

Can you detect your phone again with DC-Unlocker and copy here what is detected?

So I tried it now, but without success. I don't know exactly about Fast boot.
I tried several times fast boot, with Vol-, Menu & Power. Every time the phone started normally, except the last time when the sandbox came and the phone stayed like that for more than 5 minutes. I took the battery out and restarted.
How do I know when I ran Fast boot successfully?
I already have CM9 and Bootloader on it.
