    Anyone know any unbranded Mobile Partner that work well with this modem dongle ???
    This need to de-brand it by vodafone software...

            Are you sure K5005 is locked? Could you try to detect it by dc-unlocker when there is not original sim card inserted to modem and copy here what is detected?

              Yes the dongle is locked. I bought 7 credits to unlock it but is not possible

                    Vodafone K5005 successfully DEBRANDED !!!

                    Vodafone K5005 successfully debranded and now become original HUAWEI E398 (also driver loaded by o.s. are all Huawei!!!)....
                    Firmware and Dashboard latest avaiable from Huawei...

                          How to de-customize Vodafone K5005 into a HUAWEI E398

                          Well, if you want to de-customize your LTE Vodafone K5005 into a perfect HUAWEI E398, just flash it with this version firmware:

                          E398_Update_11.335.27.00.000

                          Note that you need for password flasher...

                          After you can flash the dashboard of your E398 with the latest MP.V23

                            Thanks. Just did the update from that link you gave. It worked like a charm.
                            Updated also the Mobile Partner. What's up with all those ads? Not nice.
                            I also update the UTPS with the one from T-Mobile.de. Lots of languages, less ads than the one from Huawei.

                            I got my flash code from here:

                            I used your link for flash update instead of the T-Mobile's. Higher version number.

                              I'm searching for an original Huawei Mobile Partner (not customized, not MP23).
                              If there is anyone that have an original Huawei E392 or E398 (not customized!) please share the file inside the dongle
