having problems opening iso with DTHuawei Edit Profile Pro keeps giving me error message Error opening iso file using windows 7 64bit have also tried with xp a getting the same message.

Maybe *.iso file is not dashboard file? Check if you are giving correct *.iso dashboard file.

Thanks for the quick reply , I created the iso with Dashboard writer so I would have thought it was the correct iso file, as it loads on to my E353 fine

There might be that your created ISO file is too big.
Any possibility to upload this dashboard ISO file to internet and give me a link? (better in private message). Then we could check it also.

how big can the file be? my .iso file is 17.5 mb

You cannot open and edit this ISO file, because there is "data.bin" file missing in it.

It means something is still missing in the ISO file. Maybe you have dashboard, which profiles cannot be edited.

Stick E398 correctly installed...always say:

Getting information from the modem...
Port COM5 not responidng.
Port COM6 not responidng.

What about if you install original dashboard? Does it work normally?

it's an ex-vodafone K5005, de-customized to E398, and I use MP (not v.>= 23)in PC that see the stick and work well...
