I have T-Mobile Sonic 4G Mobile HotSpot WiFi UMG587. I bought from ebay .
and I use a modem outside the US....
my network not 4G it is 3.5G ...



My request I want the original dashboard For Huawei E587 ((form Huawei E587 )) Not telecommunications companies such as T-Mobile or any other .

Can anyone help me??

same problem here, i have newly unlock e587 but the problem is
always 'Disconnected' on status.
il see strong signal in different network but the problem is unable to connect.
i dont know what to do. pls help.

Check if you set correct connection settings, like APN, login, password, etc.

already checked the settings, correct APN,log in,password but still 'Disconnected' in status.
and i'l saw a mark (X) on screen in standby mode.

firmware for e587

where can i find the oldest firmware for my Huawei E587??
i think i gonna downgrade my Firmware to works fine. my Huawei E587 firmware is from Smartbro Philippines.

Than maybe you changed / updated / flashed firmware to modem after unlock?
If yes, then try to write back original firmware version.

No sir, i dont update/changed even flashed the firmware. the unlocked codes
was gave to me at the local forum here at PHI. and its unlocked and accept different kind of network/sim.
this is the original firmware of my Huawei E587 also known Smarbro 'Rocket Wifi'.
but the problem is they never connected even its original carrier sim.
always Disconnected status.

Can you detect your modem with DC-Unlocker and copy here what is detected?
Make sure there is other providers SIM card inserted in modem.

ok sir i will do.... code didn't fit?? but modem read other providers sim with strong signal.

sir Gintas already solved my problem, i'll use SQLite Editor. i create my own config, accesspoint using that editor. then it works!

E587 update

Hi. I found this update on Huawei's site

http://download-c.huawei.com/download/downloadCenter?downloadId=16241&siteCode=

From this link you should be able to download a zip file (E587_Update_11.203.28.00.00.B757%28Normal%29.zip) 25 MB big.
I didn't test it yet because I didn't get the device as of now.
Whoever tries it please post your experience.

i successfully flashed the fw from the link above, it looks like an original huawei dashboard, or it is still the old dashboard, because i had the same dashboard before flashing.

so far, i can see no difference (old fw: 11.203.26.01.801)

In my case there is a huge difference because I got rid of that annoying Orange branding, other then that I guess the features are the same. I couldn't tell what is improved because I unbranded mine almost immediately upon arrival. Without a doubt should be use by everyone to get their devices to the latest version and also unbranded.
