Thanks sir. Everytime I try to use the software it freezes. I have win 7 32bit. Maybe this is the problem? I also have xp 32 bit as well. Could this be my problem?Originally posted by Gintas View PostPlease check this procedure: http://www.dc-unlocker.com/huawei_u8...lock_procedure

Windows 7 should not be a problem. But, if possible, try to detect on other computer. Maybe this will help.Originally posted by nathanming View PostThanks sir. I've tried this on both computers. Both the win 7 and xp . Both are 32 bit. Both freeze and I can't go anywhere with the phone. It detects it, but after it finds it, it freezes and (not responding) comes upOriginally posted by Vincentas View PostWindows 7 should not be a problem. Could you try other dc-unlocker version? If use not latest, then try latest.Originally posted by nathanming View PostI've tried this on both computers. Both the win 7 and xp . Both are 32 bit. Well there are many users who uses DC-Unlocker on 64-bit computers without problems.Originally posted by nathanming View PostI've tried that as well. All of them freeze up on me. Do they run in 64 bit or something?
Maybe you can give us more details about what you are using together with DC-Unlocker software? Like some dongle or other unlocking box, some other unlocking software, etc.
Maybe there are many drivers installed on your computer?

Try to remove battery of the phone for 20 seconds, place it back, then put phone to fastboot mode again, reinstall drivers, try the procedure again.Originally posted by rsaribeiro View PostI'm having the same problem. Not find the phone after pressing the - button. Someone has a solution?

Also, I suggest you to try other USB cable, other USB port, USB port which is directly to motherboard (without any USB hubs), even other computer.

I have the same problem exactly like others in this thread. I have the correct driver, I take the battery out for at least 20 sec. every time, I hold vol. - and power until it hangs in the ATT screen and press vol.- after pressing the magnifying glass. I have tried in every usb port and my computer is finding it correctly listed in device manager. Extremely frustrating!
All my computers are Win. 7 32bit
HELP!!!

Ok so after ripping my hair out I tried this on my laptop which I have never connected my phone to. When I first connected the phone via USB I noticed it came up as modem which it didn't on my desktop. After doing everything needed it worked on the first try! I would suggest removing all drivers for the phone on your computer and starting with the driver for this process. Keep in mind both of my computers run on the same identical type of OS's but like I said this was the first time I connected my phone to the laptop.

Thank you for good news. Yes, removing all drivers and installing only for this phone or using other computer usually solve this problem.Originally posted by sn0m0ns View PostOk so after ripping my hair out I tried this on my laptop which I have never connected my phone to.
