Remember that Novatel firmware:
FUU is generic
PUU is not generic
MUU is for mini-PCI express

Yep i wish i had / known about this before i did the other upgrade of the FW - my modem is 100% dead and is only good for the BIN - not even Novatel can repair it! thats how bad it is! so i have had to buy a new modem

but if it helps some one else to not to get a bad modem then at least it help someone
