Try to install all drivers manually from connection software driver folder. Then connect modem.Originally posted by buzz71 View Poston another pc is the same problem. my pc see it like a modem but mobilink dosen't see the device....my pc doesn't see it like a virtual cd!
but in start- menu and so on in "modem " i can see the novatel merlin...
Maybe any of drivers are missing and thats why connection software does not see your modem.

Then it might be that you damaged your modem when failed to update firmware for the first time.Originally posted by buzz71 View Posthello i have tried 3 kind of firmware (3.18.002 AND 2.2.0.0) but the result is the same:RESET ERROR
firmware is 3.18.02 but i can see it into device manager like a modem into my pc. but the light on modem doesn't blink (red or blue) and it can't catch the line (f.e. 3,vodafone and so on)...
could you help me?

You can download other firmware and install it ( http://www.dc-unlocker.com/downloads...D_MC950D_X950D ). This firmware has dashboard Mobilink Lite 2.08 included.
NOTE:
Firmware upgrade/downgrade is not safe procedure.
Please use it only if you know 100% what you are doing.

thx a lot it did work the ZeroCD drive is now visible againOriginally posted by panatar View PostInstall Mobilink3 software http://panatar.com/20418327_MobiLink3_v3.00.04.003.zip . Run it, insert modem into USB port and wait till Mobilink detects your modem. Goto Menu|Settings and select "Auto-Install". Your settings would be written to modem nvram and inserting your modem next time will start install from Zero-CD.
