T-Mobile MF591
I successfully unlocked the modem using this software.
My problem now is the T-Mobile software does not connect to the internet. The modem no longer detects my activated sim card.
Any suggestion?

It seams that worked the first time. I don't know why the unlocker report that error.
Can I change the firmware or dashboard to an unbranded one?

Try to connect device to different usb port, make sure no other phone/modem is connected to pc when you try to detect/unlock this one. Use autodetect option.
