    Firmware update should not lock your modem. If it happens so that it locks your modem back, you can repeat unlock with same 0 credits with same username and password that you used.

    Will firmware upgrade re-lcok modem MF691?

    I have just recently unlocked ZTE MF691 (T-Mobile Rocket 2.0 branded) and very happy to be able to use it almost after one and a half years after I bought it! (true)

    However I now find a new frimware upgrade (new to me in the sense I haven't had bothered to use this for some 18 months as it was locked and as the unlocked came in recently, I started to use it as I alwayas wished, so I should've checked and upgraded the firmware before I did unlock...however)...which is supposedly for much faster speeds (some says upto 42MBPS) and obviously I would want to do the firmware upgrade.

    However I am very concerned if the firmware upgrade will re-lock MF691 to T-Mobile again (as it was before unlock) or not.
