    any solutions ?

dose the Zain version support both 1800mhz and 2300mhz frequencies ?
Try to detect device by dc-unlocker and in unlocking tab click disable diagnostics port button, then reconnect device to pc, see if it helped.

Try to detect device again and in white area of the program under detection info type this at command - AT+ZCDRUN=F and hit Enter. Then restart/reconnect device.

Go to device manager, locate mf90 under modems line there. Right click on it and select properties, then open modems tab and check what COM port it shows there. See under Ports line what COM port is showed next to diagnostics interface of your device. After it open dc-unlocker select manufacturer and select model manually. Fill in port numbers that you have located by steps provided Application port is one that was shown under Modems line, Diagnostics one under Ports. Then detect it. After it try to Dosable diagnostics port from unlocking tab and right after it write in that AT command and hit enter, then try to reconnect device to pc and check if its still same.

filed fields manually - it's the same as auto detect setting - did every thing including removing the battery 20 seconds but it's still not working !

is it possible to use original modem firmware if we can find it ?

What do you mean, you have changed firmware of it? If disabling diagnostics port did not help that way you might want to try hyperterminal software and try to disable this port from it.

This problem should be possible to solve without flashing device. Its same situation by Hyperterminal software as well?

Original firmware of the device is usually available from the operator's web site that device was locked to.

                          Need Help...

Guys I need your urgent and thorough help here please..

I connected the device to my laptop.. and it would not be detected as a modem. The computer only detects it as a usb storage device.

There is nothing at all under "Other Devices" in Device Manager as I keep seeing in several other posts and as it should be. Nothing at all under Ports (COM).

If I try to run the autoplay file on the virtual CD ROM that is supposed to install all necessary files and drivers, nothing changes. Yes the network center shows a connected Speed 4G device, connected through LAN and I can use it to access the internet. But nothing at all changes regarding device detection.

What should I do? What am I supposed to do so I can successfully allow the laptop to properly detect the device??

                              Thank you for the reply.

I tried all that.. tried everything I could possibly think of.. and nothing. No change.. the only ZTE I see in the device manager, as I mentioned before, is listed under Disk drives as "ZTE MMC Storage USB Device". and a "USB Mass Storage Device" pops under USB Controllers whenever the device is attached.

I have those files you linked me to downloaded... but I can see no use for them as I cannot let the laptop detect the modem properly and list it at least under Other Devices so I can update the drivers manually...

Feel like I'm in a loop..

Please try this - uninstall that software that you had installed before for your device from devices drive/cdrom

Then reconnect mf90 to pc, go to computer area and eject drive/cdrom of your device that should appear there again after uninstalling software.

Then go to device manager and see if anything popped up related your device.
