ZTE Vodafone K3805-Z

Hi all,

I hope someone can help.

Has anyone managed to unlock a Vodafone K3805-Z - it's a ZTE modem (as are the other K****-Z series vodafone dongles) The software is giving me "card not found" so I'm assuming that it's as this card isn't yet supported.

Anyone care to offer some info ?

No, this modem is not supported by dc-unlocker. Could you try to detect it using dc-unlocker and copy here what is detected? Maybe we would be able to make it supported.

Hi, yes I will do that. It is what I had planned to do anyway. I've downloaded a wide variety of modem/connection software. And I'm sure with a bit of lcuk one of them will find it. And I'll repost here when I get something

We need to see what is detected by dc-unlocekr software, not the connection software.

i try to detect this dongle from dc unlocker selecting all the zte models one by one and the rest of other models too but its not detects with any of the models in dc unlocker could some one post a method how we can detect this i try to detect it with putty but still couldn't read the information pls give us a solution to unlock this model

I have used Joinair & Vodafone WHQL drivers into the installer.

Kindly test the below installer on a fresh computer and let me know the result.

thank you for the work you have done but it doesn't work, JoinAir won't recognise the device I think you need some different connection manager or non vodsafone drivers but I'm not an expert...

k3805 is not supported by dc-unlocker.

are you going to add it to your supported devices list ? are you working on it ?
this is pretty fast dongle and there is many people waiting for some solution...

i have seen quite a few guys selling this item as unlocked and accepting any sim, i manage to spoke to one of the guy and he said, Practically this modem is UNLOCKED, but the vodafone Software does not support any other sim card, how he is selling is, he is including a extra CD which have a other Dialer (software) in it,
please guide me if any knows better
