    Thanks for all your help.
Sure not original sim card there was inserted when you detected it by dc-unlocker and saw lock status as unlocked?

      ZTE Now What?

It is the original Verizon sim.

        ZTE Now What?

Now that the ZTE AC30 is unlocked, what do I do with it? How do I use it as a 3G, 5 user hot spot?

Detect with not original sim inserted. What lock status you see then?

            ZTE Now What?

I have a sim from a dead phone in the modem and unlocked it. What do I do with the modem now?

              Hi "insane"

I have the same modem, but my modem does not get detected. Could you share the drivers that you used ?

                ZTE Drivers

You can get them from above. Also make sure that you manually set the ports on unlocker to the correct ones shown in device manager for the modem.

To use other sim and connect you need to create new profile and add there new provider connection settings (apn, username and others).

Thanks. Where do I get this information and how do I add it? Do I just call up a service provider and ask them? Could I use a prepaid card from Straight Talk or Virgin? If so, how? is there a fact page somewhere I could review for the exact process?

                          In router web panel.
Yes, connection settings you can get from your provider or check in google.
You should be able to use any sim card with unlocked modem.
