it is not locked ?
However it not accepts Sim from Italian Wind !

How should I proceed to get accepted this Sim ?

Download DC Unlocker client and check wether your modem is locked or unlocked.If it is locked,you can unlock it by DC Unlocker.

mobile partner do not detect k3520

hi,
i have bought k3520 vodafone mobile broadband modem.i want to use it with a different mobile operator.but mobile partner software do not detect k3520 modem and gives me a message which was written on "the device has been disconnected or unavalibale".i set up dc-unlocker and i saw it is unlocked.
i thougt maybe mobile partner sotware can detect if i use k3520 with vodefone sim card.unfortunately it didn't detect my modem.
i use vodefone lite connect program with vodafone sim card it works(i tried)!!!
another problem is dc-unlocker couldn't find k3520 modem if i didnt set up "vodefone lite connect sotware" .so first, i set up vodafone connect lite after that i run dc-unlocker than i can see it is lock or unlocked!!!!

why mobile partner do not detect k3520 modem?how can i settle this problem?

Please don't mixed management software into same PC. Remove all vodafone software, restart, install and use only Mobile Partner

Check, if there was no original sim card inserted in modem when you were detecting with dc unlocker. If there was original sim inserted, dc unlocker can show wrong lock status.
To use mobile partner, do not remove old vodafone software. Install both. Just when you connect the modem, let windows find it and start old software. Then close the old software, start mobile partner and try to connect. Do not forget to creatre a profile with your new provider settings.

I live in East Africa and there is no Vodafone sim card around this country .. I bought a different sim card ; installed Mobile Partner ; Created a profile but i'm getting an irritating error message saying :

The SIM/USIM card has not been detected or is invalid.

Whoever solves my problem , will be getting a free African safari tour ..

To avoid this message you need to unlock your modem. Unlocking this modem needs 15 credits. Here you can watch how to unlock it: http://www.dc-unlocker.com/tutorials

Mobile Partner doesn't have an "update" optin.
What's the best way to go - uninstall and then install new F/W?

To update mobile partner that starts from mode, you need to find dashboard update for this modem with newer mobile partner version and install it.

You have two way...one is to change internal dashboard of modem dongle, other (simply) to install Mobile Partner into PC (without modify nothing into modem dongle, and so you don't loose warranty).
To have perfect installation into PC of modem dongle, you need to install first original management software of network, than install M.P., and after remove original software managment
At moment the best Mobile Partner I know is version 11.030.01.07.03 with a lots of plugin, eng and ger language:

I have downloaded the latest version of D-Unlocker 1.00.0309 but I getting the message, "Error connecting to server !". What could be the problem, please help.

I have bought the credits and also unlocked my login credentials. I am able to connect to the server when I use my Data Card. I understand that I will need to use another coccention to connect to the internet when I want DC-unlocker to unlock my data card and hence I want to use the coporate lan for that purpose. Which ports need to be opened in the firwall if I want to make the DC-unlocker work from behind the firewall.

Open ports from 9000 to 10000. Because the conenction goes to a free server thats why ports may vary.
