Can this device be unlocked with dc-unlocker? Current version 1.00.0987 does not seem to support it. Thanks!

Could you copy here what is detected by latest dc-unlocker software version?

If you can not detect modem you should check the fallowing:
Check, if the drivers are installed
Check, if the connection software for this modem is closed and modem is not connected to internet
Check, if you use autodetect function in dc-unlocker software
Check, if you use latest dc-unlocker software version.

          1. The drivers are installed and Windows sees the device in Device Manager ("Sierra Wireless WWAN Connection Adapter").
          2. No connection software is running.
          3. Yes
          4. Yes

          Hooked up through USB.

Do you see modem in device manager under modems and ports sections?
Check in task manager, if all processes for modem are closed.

              Its under
              Modems/Sierra Wireless WWAN Modem
              and
Network Adapters/Sierra Wireless WWAN Network Adapter
              and
Ports (COM & LPT)/Sierra Wireless DM Port (COM3)

I haven't installed any other software other than the driver (no watcher software).

Nope. Right click > run as administrator. The progress bar at the bottom gets to 20% and then I get the modem not detected error message.

Do you see your device under CDROMS in My Computer? If so, hover mouse over it and right click on it. Select "Eject" from the menu. Try to detect device again. Let me know if it helped.

CD-ROM? No. It doesn't show up under My Computer > CD-ROM. My two optical drives and my two media readers (SD cards) do, but not the hot spot.

Maybe there are more modems/phones connected to pc?
