Also, when you try manually detect device, do you enter port numbers that are shown in device manager? Could you mention if mf61 appears under modems line in device manager or just add a screenshot here of how it appears there.
I do not have any other phones connected. I also tried a different computer with different OS with the same results.

When I tried to manually detect the device, I entered port numbers that are in the device manager. It actually shows 3 ports.

MF61 does not appear in the "Network Adapters" portion of the device manager. The device that shows is "T-Mobile Wireless Ethernet Adapter".
I do not have any hardware in the "Modems" category.

I have tried auto-select as well as manually selecting modem.
I have turned off wireless on the device. It cannot connect to internet because it has sim locked chip on the device? So I do not understand this requirement.
In device manager, it shows one Ethernet device and 3 COM ports for this modem.

    Thank you for your help.

If you can not detect modem, check this:
Make sure all drivers are installed.
Make sure modems connection software is installed, but not
    running. (if there is one)
Use Autodetect on dc-unlocker “select model” line.
Make sure modem is not connected to internet.

Modem not supported message for MF61

    Hello,

This is my first unlock attempt. I have T-Mobile MF61 modem, which is supported in your forum. I have installed the drivers on my computer. I have set up everything in the Hotspot admin. I have disabled wireless on the device. I do NOT show a CD rom in the device manager. I have a Telcel SIM in the device. Device says "SIM locked".

When I go to detect the modem, I get the message "sorry, this modem not supported". I have tried to manually detect the same modem and I get "sorry, this modem not supported".

    Please help me!
Working...
