Hello,

I need to request the correct FULL STOCK FIRMWARE for DC-Phoenix for the following phone as I'm stuck at Method 2 Step 2, it's "suppose" to boot, but my phone still can't boot. It can only boot to fastboot, therefore, I can't get to Manufacture mode to do HCU repair!

Firmware name: FRD-L04C567B385 (I think?)
Full model name: FRD-L04 (Huawei Honor 8 US model)
Region: USA

If phone does not boot up as suggested in guide after flashing only board software then problem is on phone's hardware.

Edit: I managed to get my son's P8-Lite-2017 back to life using DC-Phoenix (3 days rental version) and firmware PRA-L31C432B100 .
I have struggled a lot because Hisuite drivers were not good. Got an update of Hisuite then I was able to awake this half-bricked smartphone..
The telephone works perfectly, but I am wondering if I can apply Huawei updates now? I am scared to kill it again ...

If update is stable then you should be ok. But with Huawei it's never certain.

Your search term is probably wrong you should focus on just version and customization of the firmware...
