              • Hi All,

I have successful flashed with DC Pheonix version 0.0.0.32 with method 2. Please refer to steps below.

1)Flashed img file via fastboot which download from factory firmware downloaded from your site (VNS-DL00_VNS-L21_VNS-L31_and_others_MAA001052_Factory_firmware.dgtks). After finished flashed, boot up, huawei logo then into fastboot screen.
2)Flashed .app file download from official huawei site via fastboot. (HUAWEI P9 Lite Firmware (VNS-L31, Android6.0, EMUI4.1.1, C636B170, Asia, 05013RUM).zip) (original .app version when bought). After finished flashed, boot up, huawei logo then into fastboot screen.
3)Flashed .app file download from official huawei site via upgrade mode. (HUAWEI P9 Lite Firmware (VNS-L31, Android6.0, EMUI4.1.1, C636B170, Asia, 05013RUM).zip) (original .app version when bought). After finished flashed, boot up, huawei logo then into fastboot screen.

Please help me why is this happening.

If phone does not boot up normally after flashing factory firmware file alone then problem is in hardware and won't be solvable by any software.

                  • I have just purchased 15 credits to be used on DC Phoenix. Since I bought credits in the past, I'm a returning user, but I can't find the password! I received an email for the 15 credits I bought, but there is not a password in that email. Can it please be sent again to my email? My username is Liebaart, just like my forum name here. Thanks!

                    • Got it sorted out in the meantime. For anybody else in the same situation: You can request a password reset from the DC Unlocker software.

                      • I used Method 2 with DCPhoenix v. 35 and my P9 Plus. I got through Step 1 without a problem. The phone boots into that Chinese factory image. OK.
Then I tried Step 2. I now get this:

Only 1 device, selected to get information

                        Getting information from the device...

                        COM3: Android Adapter PCUI (COM3)
                        COM4: DBAdapter Reserved Interface (COM4)

                        Getting information from the device...ERROR

I follow the instructions to the letter, but something gets wrong. Can you help?

                          • Does not work.

No SD Card in the phone. Phone is on Factory formware after Method 2, Step 1.
On the pc I have restarted DC Phoenix en clicked on Upgrade Mode.
Phone is OFF. Then I press Vol up and Vol down simultaneously and connect the phone to the pc.
The phone then says Software install failed.
Phoenix says: Please disconnect the device and connect again.

                            • Also, I can't enter into Fastboot anymore.
I can enter into erecovery (Vol up) and into upgrade (Vol up and down simultaneously), but not Fastboot (Vol down).

                              • Just tried to put UPDATE.APP in the dload folder on an SDCard and try to upgrade from there on the phone. It stalls at 5% and then says Software install failed.

The used update.app is from the Support Area Full Stock Firmwares for the correct model and renamed to UPDATE.APP on the card.
